PJ started playing rugby in 1997 with the Washington Furies and toured Ireland and South Africa with the team. After retiring from rugby in 2010, PJ was drawn to CrossFit for the community and total mind and body wellness. Her coaching style is designed to empower and build the confidence of all participants in her class. PJ believes in the benefit of activity for physical and mental health, and is dedicated to helping adults and children alike develop sustainable fitness habits. PJ developed a fitness curriculum for a local nursery school, that combines gross motor movement, strength-building, coordination, and cooperative playground games. She is motivated by helping others reach new fitness milestones and establishing and supporting a vibrant tight-knit community of active individuals.
